About Pierre Maurin Engineering

President's Message
For nearly fifty years, we have developed our technical design office activities with a multidisciplinary and intergenerational team. We are both a generalist design office capable of covering all technical aspects of a building and experts in the fields of industrial refrigeration and pharmaceutical laboratories.
We intervene in all phases of technical studies and construction: specifications, quantitative and estimative details, financial analysis of contractors’ tenders, drawings, calculations, site supervision, verification of contractor accounts and coordination of works.
Our ambition is the satisfaction of our clients, project owners, architects and contractors, while taking into account environmental, social and health impacts throughout the life cycle of buildings. We can support our clients in providing complete and turnkey delegated project management missions.
Our strength lies in the cohabitation of generations, the transmission of our know-how to our young engineers and a strong team spirit united around a common goal: the quality of our services and timely deliverables to establish a lasting relationship of trust with our clients.
Pierre Maurin
General Manager
A bit of history
Established in Morocco for nearly 50 years, we have been involved in the first refrigerated warehouses projects aimed at exporting citrus fruits for SOCAMAR in Casablanca, Agadir, Berkane, and Tangier.
We have been involved in numerous tourist complexes for various missions, from studies to delegated project management, across the entire Moroccan territory.
We have also provided comprehensive services for the technical aspects of major universities in Morocco: Fez, Kenitra, Marrakech, and Oujda.
Subsequently, we performed all the technical works packages studies for the Mohamed V sports complex, indoor halls in Casablanca and the Moulay Abdellah stadium in Rabat in preparation for the Mediterranean Games.
We worked on the restructuring of all the major ports in Morocco for electrical distribution, lighting, and refrigerated storage packages. We provided a complete mission for Les Jardins de la Palmeraie for all technical works packages and effluents.
We provided a comprehensive mission for Les Jardins de la Palmeraie, covering all technical aspects and effluents.
Finally, what particularly makes us proud are our missions on iconic construction sites in Morocco such as :
- The grand Hassan II Mosque with various technical works packages in the basement and on the management of esplanade water disposal.
- The renovation of the historic Mamounia hotel.
- The experimental nuclear center of Maâmora, one of the most ambitious and delicate projects in our portfolio with the studies and works supervision for all technical packages as well as architectural packages, asserting our expertise in highly specialized fields.
- The Morocco Pavilion for the 2010 Shanghai World Expo, for a complete mission including on-site supervision in Shanghai. It was a unique opportunity to promote Moroccan know-how internationally.
- 220,000 m² of offices, residences, shops, and parking at the Casablanca Marina, where we intervened on all technical packages such as electricity, low currents, external effluents, plumbing, HVAC, smoke extraction, and sprinklers.
Today, major names in pharmaceutical laboratories in Morocco and internationally trust us to provide innovative solutions in compliance with the high standards of the pharmaceutical industry.
Furthermore, we provide a complete mission for the production of cold and insulation for LabelVie supermarkets deployed throughout Morocco. Our intervention extends to hypermarkets, Atacadao, and Market stores, covering a wide range of needs in cold production and insulation.
Finally, what honors us is our participation in the Oasis Industrie date conservation project; indeed, this ecological and job-creating project contributes to sustainable development in the southeastern region of Morocco.

Our Philosophy
At Pierre Maurin Ingénierie, we believe that each construction project is unique and must be approached in a particular way. We reject the copy-and-paste approach, which is the source of many errors in design and studies.
The two most important phases related to the missions of our Technical Design Office are as follows:
- The preliminary design, which must perfectly translate the client's needs, requiring thorough reflection.
- After completion of the studies and tender documents, the contract award phase is fundamental because it is necessary to choose the right contractor, with correct prices, neither too low nor too high, and ensure that the selected equipment defined in the contracts is well suited to the project.
